Individual Involvement

1. Prayer Support

a. The Murphy’s need your prayers for safety and health as they travel and work in Ukraine and countries of the former Soviet Union.
b. The ministry needs your prayers as much work goes on behind the scenes in preparation for future trips.

2. Financial Support is continually needed for the purchase of prescription eyeglasses, the purchase of additional equipment, and trip expenses. This year, 2009, we hope to purchase edging equipment and lenses so individuals can receive their eyeglasses in a more timely manner.

3. Networking: encouraging others to also become involved.

Professional Involvement

Are you an optometrist, an ophthalmologist, or optician interested in working in Ukraine or countries of the former Soviet Union by donating one or more weeks of your time serving others with eye care needs? If you are, we are interested in talking with you about the ministry of Eye Care from the Heart, Inc.
